You know, a lot of attempts at Sally's new outfit really take away what was so loveable about the design in the first place, the official stuff included. THe shorts, the buttoned up jacket, they make her seem so restrained and artificial. In your adaptatoin to your style, portrayal of her hair, her pose, you've created that sort of natural, at ease feeling the orignal design had down so well. Well done.

The clothes are alright, but I hope they keep her cheek fluff! The only thing that bothered me is her hairstyle. It's not soft and "Sally-ish" anymore, it's all spikey and sharp.
No offence to anyone, but I prefer Sally's old hairystyle. I don't mind the clothes, but the Archie/Sega staff MUST leave her pyshical appearance alone.

I agree, they shouldn't even touch her physical appearance. Clothes I could care less about (so long as she isn't an Amy Rose clone), but I refuse to accept any redesign of her facial, or bodily alterations. It's just a way to remind us of the abomination that is the Mecha Sally story arc.

Oh wow, this is simply amazing! I've always loved how you've drawn Sally, and how much detail you will put into stuff, and let's not forgot your skill with markers! YOu just do a fabulous job, and made Sally look really cute in her new outfit!!

The clothes are one thing, but why do they think they need to take away the fuzzy chipmunk face? Dammit, I like fuzzy!
And for the record it's not her new look yet. Flynn said it's an initial concept design. So it might not be the final version.
Hopefully she'll go back to being fuzzy.

I find it interesting that after all these years, they finally made her wear pants.
...And an actual shirt. Not that I'm complaining either way, but I think it's funny. Good look though, although you never disappoint. Makes me wonder why Archie's got you running in circles about story boards when it looks like you've already got it down pat. Can't for the life of me understand why they tried to make you draw in Yardly's style.
