The lines around the head/hair have some motion in them. I like it!

If you prefer a longer drying time, have you tried using acrylic retarder?

Thank you. I bought some retarder a few days ago and I just remembered to use it for the last little bits I was painting. Helped quite a bit so I'm sure I'll be using it again. I'm so used to oil never drying.

yea... acrylic is very different.

Do a search for the glazing technique. It's an acrylic only technique that is pretty stellar. It's a different kind of blending that exploits the good qualities of acrylic
