wow this looks awesome
the only thing that bothers me is the transition from little boy chest to feathery tail. it seems kind of... awkward.

Yeah.
It was a choice I made when drawing this up because I've never really liked the overall smoothness and lack of defining features often assigned to portrayals of Davesprite. (Besides, I like feathers so why pass up a chance to draw them, even if they are kinda slipshod. 
Perhaps, in retrospect, it does make the design disjointed, especially when a few tweaks could have made it more fluid.
But I'm happy with this little experiment and hopefully next time things will work together more cohesively.
