I have this Octoling fan character named Scarlett for a long time, but never really talk or even draw her until now. She may not be much, however, she is closely linked to Garnet's character and backstory before the events of Splatoon 1 (specifically before the Great Zapfish was captured). At Octo Valley, Scarlett and Garnet used to be very close. They even considered each other to be their very first friend they ever had. But one day, something very bad happened between the two of them and their friendship had severely wavered since. xD Hhhhh, I would tell the story but they're too long, unless you guys are curious I supposed. X'''''''''')

*ahem* On to the topiiiiiic... Scarlett is a very shy, kind-hearted Octoling girl. Her gentle nature drawn people (like Garnet) to her sweet tenderness. She hates anything that involves violence, which was why she was considered to be one of the weakest Elite Octoling solider of the Octarian Army. Simply because she just cannot stand war and tools that are made to hurt people. Scarlett values life, as expressed through her genuine love for flowers, specifically red roses.

In the Splatoon 2 era after the events of the Octo Expansion, when the sea of Octarians moved to Inkopolis Square to start a better life, Scarlett and her octo family too moved out of their hiding spots, and enjoy their life the best way possible. Working in full-time, the Octoling girl currently worked in a cute flower shop ("Sunny Garden") at Arowana Mall.

She rarely participates in ink battles but at times for the sake of it, she wield her ink weapons below:
