Description
This entire set of page are basically action scenes:-Kichona get her Bubbler special ready in the first panel. She activates it as she blocked Garnet's Octoshot attack in time in the second panel.
- Kichona charges toward Garnet but he runs away by jumping over to the other side, to the lower level of the platform. He is obviously not going to deal with a squid in a protected bubble.
- Kichona take chase after Garnet again but her Bubbler is out of time and cannot protect her anymore. Garnet takes this golden opportunity and uses his Inkzooka, splatting her out of his territory. The Inkzooka has longer range so it took her out first before her Splattershot Jr. attack.

Now Garnet clearly had the right idea here. It would be foolish of one to try and fend off an Inkling who has an activated Bubbler special. The smartest thing was indeed to avoid confrontation with the Bubbler, and then attack after the special had ended. He waited until the right moment to activate his own special. Kichona should have seen his hair flare up, indicating that Garnet's special was ready to be activated, not run directly in front of his Inkzooka unprepared just to get a quick splat. Yes, she needed to be quick, but...In my play experience, Inkzookas are faster than you give them credit for. It's not a smart idea to try to out run the activation. Kichona activated her Bubbler too early. She could have retreated behind something, or dodge and splat that way. You don't need to automatically activate your special at the first sign of trouble. Wait until the correct moment, and then when the opportunity presents itself, activate it.
Hah, that one image where Garnet is pointing his Octoshot at Kichona. "It was at this moment that Kichona knew, she fudged up." X'D
We shall see what happens next! ^^

OH! Good eye that you noticed that Garnet's hair is flared up. 
The close-up on Garnet is scary (his Octoshot pointing at Kichona), I don't blame her for activating the Bubbler so quickly. EEK! XD

Exactly! Don't play the hero and go guns blazing against something that is INVISIBLE! XD (Even if it is for a short amount of time. Expert players use every second to their advantage. Though the short time is still a disadvantage, no matter how anyone looks at it. You must exploits all attacks' weaknesses.)
Well, yeah I noticed. XD His hair is surrounded in sparkle stuff, and that sparkle stuff wasn't there before. If it was there before, it would have been part of his appearance, which it isn't, so...Yeah! X'3 Only explanation: Special is about to be activated so run for your life! XD That Inkzooka is FAST on the trigger. Even trying to circle around it is a real challenge, unless you have, let's say, Swim Speed Up, or REALLY good dodging skills. Lag doesn't help you out against one of those either. Xd I've noticed the mistakes Kichona had made. Those mistakes, in fact, cost her the match. ;.;
Don't let your opponents intimidate you either! Keep a cool, level-headed mind on the battlefield and you'll know what to do. Remember, specials aren't always going to be around to save your Inkling skin, so you must always rely on your skills and your main weapon. Think quick on your feet, even in the face of danger! X3
