XD I was looking at what Spyro had turned into. And I thought wow. What the hell happened? So then I made this picture comparing the two pictures. Left- Old Spyro Right-The "New" Spyro.

i agree. i think they should make a boss who can stop that ability, and yes, its a big shame and disgrace, skylanders, if they make more games, they should use the OLD spyro, first of all. second, they should just make it more challenging! and more fun!

I like the Legend trilogy, but I do have to say I wasn't exactly liking his new look at first, then it grew on me. Plus in Dawn of the Dragon, he looks badass.

Lol the only way I can describe Spyro in the "Skylanders" version of Spyro is:
"A purple bulldog with measles that got smacked in the face by a door"

Legends: More battle worthy, superior wings and sturdier horns.
Skyro: Heavy, sturdy horns, large clublike tail spade with multiple uses, larger, sharper claws, bulldog face and larger fangs allow for a superior bite, and a good grasp on fire magic.

the first three spyro's were the best games of all of them, i loved doing all the challenges and going through portals and everything and they just took it away from us! all the new ones except a hero's tail cuz thats okay are bad and spyro just looks retarded i swear i want to complain!

I actually really REALLY like the more recent Spyros better. (Aside from the silly gremlin Skylander one, I dislike that one to a degree.)
The little legend thing was by far my favorite. I thought Spyro was adorable.

The only real difference I see is the expression and the coloring. Otherwise it looks like they just took what he used to look like and made him more realistic.

yes that is a great question but i have to say and i dont mean to be rude or let this ofend any body but i think i like the 2nd spyro better the 1st spyro i do like but its the way the game is played the. 2nd spyro i realy love the way he looks in dawn of the dragon and the the way he was the hatchling i like and the story is great in the first ol spyro theres not much action but in the 2nd you have combos and you get to wack stuff instead of just using the abillities in the ol spyro and in the 2nd spyro you get furys wich is my favorit thing in the second spyro but i do agree with you all that th spyro by syelanders just had to *beep*it up i mean the skylanders spyro is u-g-l-y uuuuuuuuuuuglyyyyyyyyyyy next thing ya know they mess cynder up if they ever do it in skylanders>_<
