XD I was looking at what Spyro had turned into. And I thought wow. What the hell happened? So then I made this picture comparing the two pictures. Left- Old Spyro Right-The "New" Spyro.

I've played both old and new ones; I love the old ones because of the in-depth and fun of the levels and beauty of the worlds. But I also like the new ones for the humor involved (intentional or otherwise) and because I think it actually shows Spyro in a different way - instead of being headstrong and cocky, he's like most kids would be, a bit nervous and wondering where he comes from while he learns about the world around him. Although I will admit that I think Cynder would have been better if she'd remained an enemy, and it was just Sypro and Sparx, but that's a personal opinion.

oh btw i dont think the new spyro is emo. i mean come on people, he has the entire world on his shoulders. I probably would take things alot more serious if i was in the same position... plus, he doesn't cut himself nor regret anything about his existance.

I want to rant on the Skylanders Spyro.
I could stand Spyro being rebooted for TLOS. I didn't like it at all, but even though it was too dark and 'emo', at least they brought back Sparx, Hunter, etc. and added an actual plot. But Skylanders Spyro is 1,000,000 times worse than TLOS spyro.
Skylanders Spyro is a Spyro game by name only. Activi$ion turned Spyro into a troll/gremlin, and NONE of the original characters are there anymore. Now they added 31 other characters to be accessed by BUYING SOME FIGURES that cost like 30 US dollars each. And the game itself costs about 70 US dollars. What the hell. They just stuck Spyro in there to get more people to buy it and attention. It's just a big money-making scam.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE MONEY, MONEY MONEY.
Fun fact/fallacy: I heard somewhere that if Activi$ion didn't buy the rights to Spyro, the next spyro game would've been rated M. Anyone else heard that?

I think my favourite version of Spyro is A Hero's Tail. They enhanced his graphics to make him smoother with brighter colours without turning him into... THAT

On the bright side, The Legend of Spyro (the title's unoriginal, if you ask me) trilogy was never released in Japan, China and in other countries on the other side of the world. Days like these make me wish I lived in Hong Kong and pretended it never existed, period.
