Description Apophysis 2.04

I just wanted to try something in this sort of style. It's too simple as it was my first time, I'm going to either try some more complex things or scrap the style completely because I'm afraid it's being exploited, as much as I like this type of julia flame.

I am learning this style, so criticism or tips would be very good.

I like this one. It's not too busy for a desktop and it reminds me of cogs in a clock.

Mmmmm...so smooth. I actually prefer this style for my desktops because of the simplicity-- but it is a bit "quiet".

Thanks, I usually put simple wallpapers on my computer too because I don't like looking at busy things for very long and get headaches a lot. The headaches explain the quietness.

Looks real good. the standard julia style I think does get used a lot. but julia still has it's place. I also think julia is very valuble to learn as it helps out with other things.

I wouldn't scrap it completely yet. You have some great images and I think you could do really good playing with this style a little.

Thanks for the encouragement, I think it is useful to learn this type of flame too and I like the style so I had to try it... I just don't want to get stuck doing repetitive work that's already been done to death, I think I'll just experiment with julias some more and see if I can find anything new with it.

Thanks, I'm still working on getting that jewel effect to be more 3 dimensional while still being clean. This one isn't as smooth as I would like.
