The skin is great I love the red on the nose. The color composition is looking real good to me, and the hair nice. Especially around the jaw and ear is awesome. I would make the color in the eyes stand out a tad more maybe some brown on the bridge of the nose. I don't know much about painting and as far as techniques and all that jazz.I have only been Painting for 3 months myself but i find that if it works, work it. Readable close: yes/ Readable far: yes. shadows look pretty good to me. In total I would say 1-10, I am rating it about an 8 ATM. Very nice Concept. Wow! I have a piece that needs a critique if you wanna check it out.

I like it, nice flow of colour and brush work. Only one thing I think is odd and that's the size of his ear. But then again if it was bigger, it may look like an elf gone wrong Nice work...and yes I agree with Citizen...8-10, smashing work, keep it up!!

Wow. Very cool. I just started reading Deadhouse Gates, and now this image of him has taken over anything my imagination could come up with because it's so awesome.

Un trabajo con una gama de color interesante. Con un sabor pictΓ³rico muy bueno.
I sure that it's a very good interpretation of this character. (I haven't read that book). Good colors.

I like how you use those brush strokes to accent those forms in this one. Nice going!
