Art trade with ...who did an AMAZING picture for me, and even a bonus sketch. This is of her snow-leopard character, and his element is light.I tried to texturize the fur to make it a bit more interesting...but I'm not sure if it worked. *shrug* Oh well. Sorry for no uploads - school+track+homework+social life+foreign exchange student = No time...meh.
Anways...NO STEALING. This isnt even my character, so I'm not going to be the only one after your ass.

Truro, this is just amazing! I remember looking at the image with flat colors and no background and thinking it looked great. The colors, pose, and character all looked lovely! But now... well, I'll say again it's just amazing! You've pulled off the fur texture very well, and to be honest, I'm quite curious as to how you did it... it fits nicely with your style, but looks convincing too. It looks particularly nice on his chest. I'm also gonna say that your backgroun is very nice. -wishes she could do half as well- I like the mountains in the background a lot, and the blades of grass near his paws!

Hehe... ^^ This is one of the nicest, longest comments I've had in a loooong time. 
As for the fur, I just created made a bunch of small black dots on a 39px document in Photoshop, went to 'Edit'+'Define Brush', and then used it low-opacity black over the whole image. Meh...maybe I ought to do a tutorial?

Oh really? I'd like to see a tutorial! ... but only if you've got the time for one. Tutorials can be a pain in the rear... I've attempted a few, but ended up stopping half-way through because I didn't like the turn-out.
