To be honest, I’ve held off drawing the Joker for a while now. What kind of Joker would I draw? Elegant crazy, stylish crazy, classic crazy, movie crazy, Snyder crazy….the possibilities!! I went more for stylish crazy because I think, deep down, that’s *MY* Joker. A Kevin Spacey, Se7en, type of focused, mental state slowly collapsing, type of fanatic. A dark serious rage in a low even voice, articulate and savage, whose passion for the madness of it all, crescendos into his laughter. A laughter that shivers through your body as you come to the realization that its that last thing you’ll hear.Related content

Yes! Now that is a proper show of respect for the boss! i like it! It looks like just after he got his teeth fixed after his last bout with the big, bad "B." He's harder to work for than my regular boss, but my Extensive Enterprises legal insurance policy I have as part of my employee benefits package from my full-time job covers my extra-curricular activities, too. Not only is he harder to work for, but his enemies are a lot tougher, too. Compared to that whacko in the flying rodent costume, the Joes are wimps. He is smarter, better armed, and better at hand to hand than any of them. You know, I'm surprised that the new President in Washington hasn't given Mr. J his Pardon yet and sprung him from Arkham. He needs him on one of those committees or boards or something up there. Yeah, but no one pays me to think. Any ways, I like what you did here, I really do. By the way, I am bucking for Immortal-status before mandatory retirement so forgive me for an obligatory, Cobraaaa! Thank, you.

And thats kinda the great thing about the Joker, is that....like whoever writes/voices/or performs the character at the time, will put their own spin to it. Some will work, others won't, and thats okay, he's different every time.

This is very much the Joker I like. He looks like he has a funny at the tip of his tongue, but you can see he's insane, covered in blood. Its like he just killed someone in front of you, and he just shrugs it off like its absurd to be so concerned. This is how I imagine him waiting for Batman.

This is great work. This is an example of where less is more. Hes got control and restraint but only barely it seems. Hes a sick individual with twisted ideas. And having watched Se7en, I can this man being very creative.

Aw, man, thanks! I had not drawn the Joker at all (maybe some pencil doodles) prior to this piece. I think DC tries too hard to make him TOO much of a horrific villain to take away that the fact that he's still a man too.
