I think the last time I drew her, I was figuring out what Chris Bachalo was designing for her. Its….a interesting design for her now, with her short shorts with high thigh high boots, that weird headdress, and her odd shirt. Its fine that he’s trying to make her look long and tall, but it kinda looks like she’s paying for her shirt in payments.
This look takes the basic silhouette that Bachalo has made and I twisted it to my look for her. Hey apparently she’s got abs and wants to show them off……okay. Took the headdress away, all the way pants, more stylized the shoulder guard and tossed in some more red than just the shoulder ‘X’
I can live with it.

Not just abs, muscles. I've seen Kris Anka's take on Magik from Bendis UXN #15 and she was muscular and tall, almost amazonian-like. I thought to myself "I guess it runs in the family after all".
