Red Hood aka Jason Todd.A first shakedown try on him. And like many I’ve done, there’s a LOT of similar designs that work its way from piece to piece. By no means is it bad, but it could have been….better tweaked. I think the biggest kink here is the actually helmet. Wanted a more faceless appearance, but really ended up looking more like a hybrid Batman/Vigilante. And no jacket…..yet. Good, bad, its a start.

You're not the first person to make a note of that. Seems I gave ole Jason here a more female curve to him. Well, prior to him becoming Red Hood, it seemed that ANYONE could be Red Hood, so its uni-sex! lol

That is very good! And while the jacket is his signature, I think not having one showed off more of your design.
But... yeah, the helmet needs a little work. Still cool though.

Look better than the new 52 design and under the red hood because it more mysterious looking then the original joker red hood aka jack Napier Verison

I hear ya. I wanted a "Anyone can be Red Hood" type of look. Some people have said that his hips make him more feminine as well. I just want a Legion of them, it would be mind blowing!

I can see the feminine thing, though to me it comes off more of a shirtless rocker look. The hips are definitely male to me.

I know its been mentioned already but your Hood is looking a bit on the feminine side. Nothing wrong with that but it doesn't look like you're going for Rule 63 here so just something to recall if you decide to update this one later. The overall look is pretty nice. I like the body suit that covers the torso and arms. The helmet seems pretty badass. I hated the "pill" helmet and the current one with the mouth isn't my cup of tea either. The jacket would complete the look so if you want to, you can make a separate one with it on but as it is now, it just needs some tweaks here and there to wrap this up.

I hear ya. And thats the beauty of first tries. Figuring it all out. The jacket was meant to be left out to finish the overall body suit. Do I personally want a jacket on him, no. Serves no purpose, imo. If he needs to put his hands into pockets, I gave him pants!
All kidding aside, he's a first try and mostly likely when I come around to drawing him again, he'll look quite different. The helmet may change, color scheme....there might be a jacket, possibly a red jacket (maybe a hoodie, hmmm...)....who knows.

He does seem girly, as much as he seems to be male, you can't actually distinguish, and the body shape is very similar to Jason's, so you wouldn't know. It's a great work, not all body shapes are the same, and there are no body shapes strictly for men or women (although it's a lot of times different), with that suit, it's no difference haha. Love it.

So true. I also wanted a bit more...uh....ambiguity to it. Like you didn't know if you were fighting a girl or a boy. The Red Hood concept has been used for both genders. Be kinda cool for a pair of twin villains/heroes who both look the same. Hmmm...

Yeah, due to the bulk of the belt it looks like JayBird's got some hips! Nothin' wrong with a dude with more meat on hips bones. Hell, maybe that's why he wears the bulky jacket in the first place!
I like the concept of the helmet, but yeah you're gonna have to tweak it a bit, it looks a lil bit too high in the cranium department.

Yeah, that helmet's a bit tall. lol. It actually was TALLER than this finished version and I was like....no, lets cut that down a bit. But you're right...needs another trim.

Without a face and jacket, the suit looks rather slim and unisex. Maybe more than one person could be the Red Hood?

This may sound sexist but the pose seems to accentuate Jason's hips. This makes the figure somewhat feminine.
