A play off of my Hal Jordan redesign. I love the idea that its just not the ring that holds the power, the wielder and the ring become one. The body becomes the battery of sorts. I loved the idea of John Stewart’s eyes being green for all the exposure he had to his power ring from Justice League Unlimited. Natu’s the same way: her eyes glow, when she uses her ring the energy bleeds through her gauntlets.

UPDATE (6/8/13) I've updated Soranik with a couple of new detail changes. This'll be my entry for Project Rooftop's Emerald Assemble redesign contest. I was further re-invested in this piece when Patrick Gleeson, artist of Batman and Robin (and formally of the GL Corps) commented on this piece over on my Tumblr acct. It was awesome.
