I went in with the rebrand with high hopes, but they eroded quickly. I'm just not a fan of the slow story in superhero books.

I don't mind a "slow" story if there is build up and an actual plot...and an eventual payoff a few issues later.
However, Marvel seems to have problems with the concept of a plot (in fact, I think "plot" is a forbidden four letter word at the offices of Marvel).Β And Continuity...a foreign concept to them as well.
Sorry...been on an anti-Marvel kick more than usual lately.

Where are the quotes from, they compliment the piece nicely.

I used to use actual quotes, but now I construct them myself in kind of the image that I see the character.

Awesome pic!Β Β The quotes really bring out the characters qualities, but suggestΒ darkening the words a little to be able to read.Β can't wait for more!

That hair is so silly. Even Kelly Sue DeConnick says because artists don't seem to consistantly draw her hair the same way, that it might as well be part of her powers too.
