Description
1 & 2, The Duke & Berseker, Duke & Bertram.These two Small Englands were built at Boston Lodge for the MSR named after The Duke of Sodor and one of the former Warriors who served under them, known to history only as the Berserker.
The both of them got along well Duke having an air of grandure, and one might say arrogance, for being named after the Duke of the isle. Whilst Bertram thought his names origin was mystical and intreasting, as well was the heavy Norse of it all, both were natural Story tellers, Duke of History and the Stories of the Land, Bertram of Ghosts, Lords and Ladies.
After the tragic insidents that occurred to N0's 3, 4, and 5 Bertram insited to be moved to the nearby Harwick Tramway, leaving Duke to run the railway for awile.
Both are Currently Preserved Duke on the Skarloey Railway, and Bertram at the Ulfstead Castle MSR Heritage Trust Railway.
