Description
Nowadays, many people have asked for help. I don't think what you're doing is perfect, but now it really doesn't look bad. So I created this video to help them.*** NewTo create a high polygon mesh. -----> New Method (only swf video) This method is a little more complex but when done well you will get excellent results. I did the simplest way to show the basic information.
You can even get a smoother hair by applying Subdivide when you are in Curve mode.
But of course, all of this will slow down your computer. The rendering time will be extended. And you can increase the density by replicating the hair.
There's an example I've prepared here before. All Head / Just Hair
Youtube link Same video
I hope I've helped them. If you have a question in mind, you can ask without hesitation.

Thank you, my friend.
I usually try to use it for tutorials. But I still share it in ridiculous things.

Hi Tselman!
Great workflow!
Also, as matter of alternative way, you could try to use the Screw Modifier to generate mesh uniformly:
The axis preferably on Z, angle with lower values e.g. 2 degrees

Hi, Thank you for your opinion. But unfortunately it turns the whole hair.
But as another solution ...
-Remove double vertices
-Object / Convert to / Curve from mesh/Text
-Object Data / Geometry / Bevel / depth Value
But I think I came up with a better idea.
After converting the mesh to Curve, add the Array and Curve modifier to any cylinder.
But this was not very successful either. Each hairline needs to be made individually.

Try to change the Angle value to 2 degrees on the Screw Modifier
Also the Steps and Iterations paraments can be modified to increase the complexity of mesh
Hope it helps but anyways it turns out great

Turning the whole model. Similar shapes are formed in my previous picture. But if you're wondering, the model is here .
I've done things similar to what I wrote earlier. swf video But this is more comprehensive and detailed. Of course, there are disadvantages.

Oh damn what a pity man.
This method using curves is amazing too. I've tried to make my own hair using Bezier and drawning curves with grease pencil. There's a comfortably freedom to make anything
The links isn't working, but no problem, I'm just curious to know how it will end up
Seeya!

I recreated the links. For swf video, "Flash player" will ask for activation permission.
Thanks for everything.

Okay, I think I found an alternative way. But it's the same. I was just careless.
