Mmmm this was a real quick little jobber with me playing with dark tone with a powerful light source again.Light from Death Note; i've watched about half the series so far.. when i found out L bites the big one i lost interest (he was the only reason i watched it)

So, I think you picked a great subject. Light from Death Note is a pretty interesting character, to say the least.
To begin, I have to say I really like the colors your chose, the dark blue and the white shirt give a very clear contrast that wraps the character up nicely. I also like the little wispy bits in the background--they really add to the feeling of being in the presence of a God, as Light gives off.
I do want to point out that his nose is a little too unturned, and his lips are slightly too expressed. When I saw the picture, the first thing I thought was "Oh, cool girl." If you were to tweak the picture at all it would be his nose and lips. Otherwise, everything looks great and blends very well together.

Ah I see! See I just started actually being active on deviantart so I'm still learning my way around. I will keep this in my need time though! I do like your stuff however makes me wish I could actually draw....oh well!

one thing i do want to point out though is that i did not draw the line art, it was a free to use that i simply colored.. so not much i could do about the nose and mouth
