Description
A sphinx (from Greek mythology -- female with wings).Mostly I wanted practice drawing and painting rocks. I'm just trying to churn out a lot of art so that I am getting a lot of practice.
Pencil and watercolor.

I love the rock texture, and I think the Sphinx's mellow face makes it look interesting

Thank you! I loved painting the rocks, and the face has become sort of a standard for my sphinxes (I've done several sketches since, and I'm working on another painting).

Thanks! I was a little disappointed in the grey I chose, as it's awfully close to the rocks she's standing on. Oh well, camouflage. XD

The way the face was drawn is very different from what I would think a sphinx would have, but I think I like your design better. Haha. XD
