This is pretty interesting, but it wouldn't call this style...realistic, but detailed....maybe.

You may be thinking of 'realism' . Realistic is just the portrayal of real life imagery with correct light sources and shading. Even lined drawings can be called realistic. In this case, I applied light and shadow on the hair so it's not flat but has form, much like real hair does. Plus this isn't that detailed. In the latter part of the video I shared how you can draw a few strands of hair to fool the eye into thinking the whole piece is made of many more strands.

There's a level higher, Realism. That really pushes the level of detail and life like lighting high. Realistic drawings, resembles real life elements but not quite real life.

Basic round brush that you can soften. Pretty common in many programs.

Not exactly, though you can build up the volume and shading with graphite as well. Then use a kneaded eraser for some fine detailing or white gel pen for the stray strands of hair.

I am 5.1 and 82 pounds I cant mow lawns. I don't think my brother would want a little girl like me, his sister, to be by myself outside. Also who's baby am I gonna babysit? I am bad with babies, I don't even change my baby brothers dippers. (I make baby smile and laugh a lot thought.)

My point was that it isn't that much money to get these supplies and if you like art so much it wouldn't hurt to get a few nice items to enhance what you already do ^-^
