Finally fin! Sorry for the long looong wait...there were a lots more touch ups and additional animations left than I had expected and I would feel even more sorry to show an almost finished product online with many flaws and staggering motions.Anyways, here I present you Colored for Life, starring Emil (and the colorful Inkies)!

Synopsis:
The artist Emil is working hard on his paintings which look detailed, but lack spirit and looks dull like his colorless room. The colorful inks on his palette come alive and realize Emil is making a disgrace of them. Being annoyed and neglected, they try to teach him a colorful lesson.

Wow, that was awesome! I wish I could do 2D animation like that. How long did it take you to do this?

The animation itself (backgrounds, rough + full drawings) took me around 3+ months (full time).
Making the full animation part was faster than the preparations tho. Brainstorming, planning and sketching process took most of the time.

I really believe in this animation.
It doesn't just ephasize application inside other colours, but to allways try out different ways in art, and to gain inspiratons and other perspectives.
