Description
Inspired by a piece I saw at the museum. I give full credit to the original artist for content and concept of this painting. I wanted to see if I could recreate the oil painting look.Related content

I'm so glad you like it. I worked very hard to achieve the effect. I'm working on a new piece inspired by my post "Run or Fly". I'm trying for the watercolor look. This will be my first attempt using this technique so keep you eyes open for it.

Thanks Elly. Since I got a pen tablet and some decent software, my digital art has gotten much better. The more I learn, the better I'll get.

What a great illustration of Cheetahs! I love 'em. This has a very warm, light feeling to the texture, very well done.

In a different life, in a different time, long ago during the golden age of Cybertron, there were three friends. These three friends were always coming up with new ideas and better technologies. Their names were Ratchet, Gobots, and Preceptor. On an auspicious day, they found a trove of as yet unborn Autobots. This was unheard of, as all Autobots were created from the great Spark and came to the world roaring and ready to go. Preceptor(the intuitive one)conjectured these poor things were left overs from the great war and had lost their spark before their lives ever started. Ratchet( a renowned physician and cybertarian)believed that at least some of these still born Autobots may be brought back to life. And so the search began for a suitable subject for an experiment to prove Ratchets theory. Gobots(the brave and tender hearted)found what he believed to be a suitable subject. Would you look at this, he said. This little gem hasn't a scratch and she'd green just like me. All were in agreement, this was a suitable test subject. The three, wanting to insure no damage was done, cleared an area around her and all reached down to lift her out of the rubble and something miraculous happened. A bit of spark from each jumped into the inanimate autobot. She began to move and suddenly jumped to her feet. Gobots roared in delight " Wow, That was fast!" Preceptor agreed and Ratchet exclaimed "Swift indeed". And the now animate Autobot exclaimed in a weak yet firm voice,"I am Swift".
I hope you enjoyed my little rambling. Forgive an old Autobot his memories. I was known as Gobots on Cybertron, on earth, you know me as tso2me. Have we ever really met? I don't believe so, but I have read some of your work so I thought I would give you an alternate origin story. I do pay close attention when visiting pages, especially those that have faved my work. Have a Merry and a Happy. Later Swift.
