so yeah, I FINALLY uploaded something. I'm on serious art block right now. Can't draw to save m'gosh darn life atm. >< have plenty of ideas, but can't get it on paper. Still workin on those commissions though, so do not fret.

all I have to say is, I did the lighting that way because I wanted to keep the focus on their faces, mainly their eyes, and the tension in the air (NOT on his distored funkadelic body that is, and I admit, TOO SKINNY, gawd, especially for HIM -twitch- freakin MARINE that he is... >> by the time I realized this, I was already too far along in the CG process kjfjdgher -implodes- ). I think I could have captured the look in zora's eyes a lot better, but I'm still happy with this overall. not bad for what started off as a random sketch.

Val: Wait.. no.. I think I lied about something though.... -thinks for a few seconds-....Yeah, there was this one time I lied, but I think that was about it.
Kael: Well then, I'm in deep shit. -continues on towards the armory-is going to do laundry-
Val: Omg.. I just realized something... I- I'm gonna have to start dressing and acting all girly-like starting tomorrow -sobs-
Kael: -raises brow- Dare I ask WHY?
Val: because of a stupid promise I made I wish I could break but can't unless I want to get shot...again.
Kael: -frowns- I know how that goes.. >> -sorts clothing-
Val: Yeah, but I always break my promises....unfortunately there's a consequence to this one >>....and I had...what, almost a year to do it but I left things for last minute. I can just see him all scolding me.. ESPECIALLY after what I did to his hair...
Kael: Soooo.. dye your hair one color and fix it up, and I'm sure you can pull off the 'girly' thing. You did it quite well at the violin performance you had to give..
Val: -sighs- closes one eye as if saying "but I dun wannu!"- I guess you're right...and I could always take a crash course
Kael: Hell, if Emma could pull it off, you could too. -__-
Val: yeah.. and if not, I’ll just blame it all on you and get away without a single bullet touching me.
Kael: Oh joy. Just what I wanted. to be shot at your expense -_____- again. -sarcastic-
Val: Naaaah... you're tall and intimidating. He won’t shoot you... he only shoots me because I need to be "taught" a lesson..
Kael: So this is the guy that used to shoot you then? some relationship you guys had. -eye roll-
Val: Yyyep... it was quite fun actually. Except for the shooting...and then the constant "No, you can't handle the action, so I’ll do it all by my self" speech. It took me a looooong time to prove him I could do things on my own, but even still I get shot every once in a while for making stupid mistakes.
Kael: -grins-snickers- That's no way to treat a lady. He's a far cry from a gentleman.
Val: Yeah, I know...that's why it was so fun. Being treated like a lady is too... I don't know. I just don't like it.
Kael: In that case, I'll be sure to treat you as such.
Val: You do that and I'll dye your hair purple
Kael: -curling grin- You wouldn't dare. Because I'd pull my secret weapon out of my sleeve. And you are unprotected and completely vulnerable to ANY attack >}

Kael: Do you really? I don't think you do.
Val: omg I do but I don't >>.... do you think it's worth risking it?
Kael: -stuffing a load into the washer- Depends.. it could be pretty dangerous..
Val: Can't you give me a hint? I'm being eaten from the inside out just wondering.
Kael: No. -puts detergent in and shuts the lid-wanders out-
Val: Oh come on! You do know that all this is tempting me to dye your hair purple more and more, right?
Kael: DO IT! I DARE YOU! -yelling from the other room-
Val: But I only have black hair dye in my bag! >>
Kael: too bad.
Kael: -wanders into his room and changes his jeans so he can wash the ones he has on-emerges in a pair of black baggy jeans that he hardly ever wears that are dragging the ground, surprisingly-they're practically falling off his ass-
Val: I’m sorry, we'll have to settle for black then -grabs the black "color pulse" hair dye from her bag while he changes- jumps on him the moment he gets out of the room and attempts to dye his hair black-
Kael: -struggling with her on his back-runs into the kitchen- GET OFF DAMNIT!!!
Val: -locks her legs around his stomach while she puts the moose thing on his hair as if she were shampooing it-
Kael: -flails around trying to pry her off-looks around desperately for the sink-
Val: Stand still, you're getting the stuff on MY hair! -practically clinging to him cause she's falling-
Kael: -trying to rinse the stuff out of his hair before it does any permanent damage but to no avail-hair is now black-Zora falls off his back in the process-whips his head up out of the sink-turns to glare at her before swooping her up onto the countertop and pin her against the cupboards-glares at her, twitching like crazy-
Val: God damn, I should've seen that coming... -referring to the pinning down since she can never get out of that- .....-clears her throat- It'll wash off in a few washes, I swear @__@
Kael: -wet hair is dripping-breathing erratically- ........ -swallows, then opens mouth to exhale a strangled breath-gaze is still locked onto hers, red eye spinning in his head-gaze is withdrawn and distant and is now staring deeply into hers-eyebrows still drawn down low-
Val: -eyes amazingly wide at the sight of the spinning red pupil- stays silent staring at him trying to figure out what the hell he's thinking-
Kael: ...I warned you...
Val: Y-you dared me >>
Kael: I did. But I'll bet if I told you to jump off a bridge you wouldn't do it.
Val: Depends
Kael: Really? -tilts head from one side to the other-still staring at her-
Val: Yeaaah -head turns to the side trying to avoid his gaze-
Kael: On what?
Val: on the reason you'd want me to jump off a bridge.
Kael: Think I could make you do it anyways? -is about to jump off a bridge himself-
Val: >> You have that power over me, remember?
Kael: -leaning in to intercept her lips and cuts her off before she finishes-soft gentle kiss-eyes fallen shut-
Val: -caught COMPLETLEY off guard as he predicted- eyes widen even more then shut- feels like she's about to have a heart attack and is all like "-dies-"-
