This got me a spot in the book and a copy of the Dramacon Ultimate Edition (runner-up.. boo). Good thing I didn't buy the series. xD

Ugh this picture is so embarassing I don't want to look at it.
Uh yea, I mean, I did read the whole series and I liked the characters and "shenanigans" a whole lot so I thought, why not?
Errrhhh.. Oh geez I remember doing this one the deadline week. I spent the whole month thinking I shouldn't enter, yet I still thought about good designs.
Then I was like "OMG Bethany would look kicka$$ as a miko." The problem was with Kristie. By the time I was done with the lineart I had spent forever on the sketch, leaving me with no time. Kinda.
This all took place during the final week of my Drivers Ed and College/Career class, aka, finals week. And a mid-term for Health Ed.
Which really sucked because then I thought "OMFG why did I put Kristie in that stupid maid outfit when she would look so awesome in a yakuza get-up!" I debated the idea of a suit but I thought Kristie is more feminine than that.
Oh yea, I did have a chibi for uhm.. that one lady who was a famous mangaka in the story... but it wouldn't fit without blocking my favorite parts!! (ie the big bow and the hands).
