Poor Harry, he had what he wanted for a brief second in time.Did this and was NOT pleased with how the scan turned out! grrrrr. TOO LIGHT!! But hope you all like despite it's horrible display.

Thats the image I think alot of fans(apart from maybe the H/H shippers!)would like to hang on to.We just know that much much darker days are on the way for Harry.........

That's what I was think as I drew this picture. I thought of how every for that moment in time seemed to be going alright despite all the hell Harry had ALREADY been through. It almost had the feeling that everything was going to be like it used to be in earlier books. A more simple life. Harry had just about let go of Sirius' death and he had all his friends and his future ahead. Then he ended up losing everything expect Ron and Hermione. I hope Ginny won't let go so easy.

The composition and the mood of the piece are great. Why don't you touch up the colors in photoshop or another program if you're not happy with them?

I did touch them up as much as I could without making them look "touched up". So, I am alright with the color since I know it could look worse. I have cheapo-paint shop pro. So I can't do a whole lot with it.

The coloring in this picture is awesome. The best thing about it is the glow you have from the fireplace. Makes it all warm and cozy feeling.

Very cool. Excellent use of light. When i see it, it just makes me go, awwww. Great anatomy and feel. The only nitpick I have is that his right arm seems a tad fat. Ive been trying the same pose recently, and know how hard it can be to get that arm right. Its still only a tiny imperfection, and the peice is still phenomenal. Great work!

Thank you. I was being pulled between using pen to out line or just pencil.....pen....pencil.....grrrrrr. It turned out too light. So I think I'm going to pencil from now on!lol
