In the last panel, Winry realizes that what Alfons meant was that she should go on a date with Ed's best friend (him).
The idea for this comic is...really really really old. XD In fact, I'd say it's one of the very first ideas I ever had about HeiWin. (Alfons Heiderich x Winry Rockbell) Thus, the title being "The Beginning of HeiWin".
It's also the reason why Winry didn't realize how Alfons feels about her in the beginning of this comic. XD;
