The following is additional reference information for the named Agent, in order to detail supernatural abilities and history as known by the WDSA at this time. It is potentially not a comprehensive list.
Abilities:
Primary ability: Shapeshifting, werewolf.
Easily the most integral feature of this agent, with five 'true' forms known at this time (he is able to partially shift to generate one or two features of his werewolf forms if required) and are detailed in the following section;
- Human: Standard human. He is remarkably fit and healthy, especially for his age bracket, but other than having very good physical health, reflexes and strength he is denoted as human standard, as his abilities are within the range of human ability for his height and weight. A tribal tattoo is present on his right shoulder, stretching down onto his shoulder blade and back, will glow when spiritual abilities (described below) are used. Will revert to human state if killed, knocked unconscious or hits the limit of his True Werewolf state (detailed below).
- Near-human: Taller and more powerfully built than standard human state, with a thick coating of hair/fur over most of his body the same colour as his wolf states, elongated fangs, claws and ears; generally more 'animalistic'. Sense of smell and hearing are fair more sensitive than human, while reflexes, strength and stamina well above even top athlete human capabilities. Slightly unnerves human onlookers, but is close enough to pass for human or a splicer.
- Wolf: Standard Canis lupus lupus, perhaps a little taller than average but otherwise indistinguishable. Incapable of human speech but retains human intellect (though affected by wolf instincts). Boasts increased speed and endurance, but otherwise wolf standard.
- Near-wolf: A state somewhere between wolf and wolfbeast; with some of the speed of wolf state and a portion of his Wolfbeast's strength, but more control. It is fair larger and heavier than the wolf state, with powerful jaws and sharp claws. Human onlookers will often be instinctively unnerved by this form.
- True Werewolf/wolfbeast: Monstrous blend of human and wolf characteristics, standing at 10' (this is apparently large even by his species' standards) with a huge increase to muscle mass even above near-human state. A humanoid body covered in a thick coat of wolf fur, topped with a large wolf head with crushing jaws and lethal fangs, each finger tipped with viciously long claws. Wolf tail extends from the base of spine. Capable of bipedal or quadrupedal locomotion. Capable of human speech but in a growling, hard to understand tone, but can talk fluently in a language unknown to the WDSA but understandable by other werewolves and spiritual creatures. This state is almost exclusively reserved for combat and will tear through many adversaries with a terrifying ease. There is a limit to how long he can remain in this form as the strain on his psyche and body is too great. Though a hard limit has not yet been found, it appears to be in the realm of half a day. Agent Hemming then requires a full 24 hours to recover before he can assume Wolfbeast form again willingly. Use of this form brings the risk of a rage-fueled state, driven solely by instinct and unable to distinguish friend or foe; if he has enters this rage state due to excessive injury or anger while in another form, he will assume this state reflexively, regardless of whether he has already hit his 'limit' previously that day. In his True Werewolf state injuries up until the most grievous are outright ignored, though if death is imminent he will flee the area in an instinctive drive to save himself.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Even in this flight state, anything that gets in his way is liable to be thrown, smashed or torn into pieces, so extreme caution is still advised.
Accelerated healing
Phenomenal healing ability. Small wounds, cuts and abrasions will heal in seconds, while larger injuries will heal in a day or so. Even limb removal will undergo repair and return to full function after 15-20 days. Internal and external injuries, so long as they are not enough to incur death outright, or new wounds inflicted in a short enough span to prevent healing and lead to death, will heal within minutes, hours or a few days depending on the severity of the wound(s), bleeding, unless death occurs, will halt within seconds. Agent Hemming will often become ravenously hungry if a large amount of healing is required. It should be noted that any blood, flesh or other biological material will register as human (or standard wolf) as soon as it leaves his body. Blood reverts to type O-negative.
The exceptions to this healing ability are detailed in the Weaknesses section, below.
Resistance to damage
Tied in to the previous accelerated healing ability, Agent Hemming has an extraordinary resistance to most forms of damage, especially in his True Werewolf state. Injuries that would fell a man he will remain standing and fighting through and if downed with wounds that are assumed to have killed him, he will often get to his feet a few minutes later (and often very angry in this scenario).
Spiritual abilities
Agent Hemming is capable of not only seeing and interacting with spirits, but has the ability to 'cross the veil', so to speak, which gives him access to the spiritual realm. He has stated that he cannot be in human form 'over the other side' and must be in one of his other forms, also that he runs the risk of death or becoming trapped over in this spiritual realm if he is not careful, as many of the creatures are more powerful than himself and he can only access this ability in the proximity of a large enough source of spiritual energy, which he can 'tap into', though the means by which he does so are as yet unknown. He has stated it is an inherent ability of 'his type' of werewolf and it is their job and curse to be half flesh, half spirit 'guardians' of the spiritual realm, protecting the physical plane from being destroyed or otherwise taken over. He would not comment on the current state of that endeavour. It has been documented that he can harm and completely destroy spiritual beings, should the need arise. Agent Hemming is also capable of manipulating these spiritual energies to increase his capabilities, track a creature or spirit over what should be impossible distances, empower allies, dominate or negotiate with spirits, twist and bend the material plane in ways that should not be possible, bathe himself in a silvery fire and possibly other abilities that have not yet been documented. However, these powers are not infinite, often requiring time and enough spiritual energy beforehand to accomplish. He can place himself in a state of complete exhaustion if he overexerts this ability, especially, in his words, "without a pack to back me up".
Weaknesses:
Silver
Aggravated contact (breaking the skin) with this substance burns and any injuries inflicted will bypass his usual accelerated healing, as evidenced by facial scar tissue. Simple contact is not enough to damage, though it is painful, becoming excruciatingly so the longer he is in direct contact. The substance must be pure; alloys, coatings and compounds (such as silver nitrate) are painful and irritating, but do not deal the same extreme injury and will heal as normal. It has been noted (through his own admission) that in recent years the expansion of electronic and computer components - where silver is utilised - has led to a greater number of urban spirits that are far more immediately dangerous to him than before. (Spiritual interactions are detailed in the abilities section, above.)
Incident 03-05-C
Medical grade pure silver nanoparticles were introduced to the agent's bloodstream through an antimicrobial spray by a well-meaning individual. This led to extreme pain and some internal and external haemorrhaging as the particles were forcibly removed from his system. Agent Hemming was able to place himself in holding cell C-05 before entering an enraged state and assuming the Wolfbeast form detailed in Appendix 1 and shapeshifting notes in the Abilities section above. He broke containment 1 minute and 45 seconds later, but was brought under control by on site personnel.

Supernatural damage
Certain kinds of supernatural damage inflict more injury and are more difficult for him to recover from than their standard equivalent e.g. fire from a magical source will not heal as quickly as fire generated by natural means. Cause unknown. Full scope of supernatural sources that cause this effect unknown.
Control/Anger
While Agent Hemming shows remarkable control over himself comparatively to a great number of his species, he is still subject to the rage and passion inherent to werewolves. A situation that might make a human angry, is liable to cause a rage state in Agent Hemming, such as finding a spouse cheating, or watching a team mate become injured. This has the potential for him to hurt friends or loved ones, or be manipulated by powers capable of increasing the potence of emotions, or other such abilities.
From what is known by the WDSA, Agent Hemming's history is as follows;
His childhood was, by his own statement, rather average. Neither of his parents show any sign of shapeshifting or other werewolf abilities, due to the condition 'skipping a generation'. During his teenage years, Agent Hemming reports that he had a 'short fuse' and was quick to anger, but by both himself, his parents and those around him, the behaviour was attributed to puberty and the stresses of moving into adulthood. These episodes of explosive anger only worsened into his late teens, culminating in his leaving home to 'find himself' abroad (and protect his parents from his behaviour, as he did not wish to hurt them). Hemming has explained that this period of his life was extremely confusing and distressing, as the closer he drew to his first change, the more disconnected and out of control he felt.
Agent Hemming's first change occurred at the age of 19, while he was staying in a small town in the Canadian North, though he does not remember the name. He has admitted little memory of what exactly happened, but has stated he remembers seeing the full moon while out for a late walk, due to being unable to sleep as he had been plagued with vivid and disturbing dreams. He recounts feeling as though his blood were boiling in his veins, wanting to tear off his own skin and feeling something so powerful, primal and intense calling it anger was beyond an understatement. There was a sound he remembers; a howl that he later realised was his own, full of an ancient rage, sorrow and excited thrill of a hunt he had not yet experienced. Concrete actions and sights, however, are hazy even now. The first definitive memory he has is of waking up in a cell, in a facility unknown to the WDSA or it's affiliates - partially because the location has been destroyed, by Hemming's own statement.
During his time in this facility, Agent Hemming described experimentation upon his person, as the personnel in the aforementioned location attempted to glean as much information about him and his abilities as they could. Usually by means most unpleasant, though he has declined going into an great detail about his experience for the time being. It was in this facility he received the scar upon his left cheek, through use of a silver blade upon his skin. Though he was unaware of the passage of time during his captivity, Hemming later found that he has spent nearly two years in these conditions, until a mass containment breach allowed him to escape, an event that also led to the complete destruction of the facility.
