Scene 2; The Plan.

Characters: Dusty, Eva, Klein, Buddy, Robin, Gear, Albert, Jack, Briar.
-----------------------------------------

With everyone finally in from the cold, the gathered teams began to plan who gets what, and hope it didn’t turn out to be too complicated.

As the groups settled in to figure out who did what, Briar passed out some stew that he’d been making in the meantime. It was hardy, but simple, warm and filling.

"I can go to the creeping forest with whoever." Jack offered immediately, with a sly smile aimed at Buddy, "I know it well enough to get around it."

"I could help with creeping forest too." Dusty added, "I've been there quite a few times." Eva sighed softly, not sure where she could help. Not like she could carry anything. She would go where ever they needed someone extra.

Albert seemed about ready to have a panic attack for a few moments as he considered, but finally decided. He looked up and stated quietly, "I could go to the lake...”

Buddy grinned back at Jack's smile, having a feeling they might get along just fine... Compared to a certain someone, at that moment. He then turned to the others and raised his hand. With an enthusiastic tone he offered, "Oh! And I can go to Sapling Village- I can.... try.. Er- to carry the loads of spores. I can do it!"

Robin glanced around before speaking, "Since little of us are able to do aquatic activities, I'll volunteer to go to the lake." He sniffed, but quickly shook it away, giving a determined look. "I know I'm sick but I want to help."

"I can go to Creeping Forest as well. The Slasher Gang might be lurking around, and having a Fire Type would make it harder for them to ambush us and be successful" Gear spoke up, looking over at Jack and Dusty afterwards, he then continued with, "I hope that's fine by you guys."

Jack shrugged flippantly, and Dusty nodded. "Alright so Gear, Jack and I can go to the forest that seems like a rounded out team. Robin to the lake and buddy to the village... Since Robin is sick he should have a couple others helping him out. Albert’s one..Anyone else?" Dusty asked.

Klein wiggled slightly, then stood, "I'll go to the lake too." He nodded, "I can help, I'm not afraid of getting wet."

Robin gave a nod. "Help is appreciated."

Briar stammered in embarrassment,"I..I'm no good with...most of this stuff," he cowered,"And I'm getting sick too...but... I can help take care of the sick, and...maybe even help the medical tent make the cure when we get the stuff!" He squeaked, and looked like he really wanted to hide.

Albert looked up, nodding. He was glad Robin would be there. He'd feel much safer like that, and Briar seemed reliable enough to take care of the sick Fen.

Buddy glanced around, and asked, "Is there anyone who wants to go to Sapling Village?"

Eva raised an arm at that, "I can come with you to Sapling Village Buddy. I can't really help carry stuff but at least you won't go alone."

“Good, so everything’s settled,” Jack grinned and finished up his stew. The others followed suit, and stood. He made for the door of the base,”Well, lets get this show on the road people! Onward!”
