Description
Edit: OMG, A DDEdit 2: If you are using 7x, instead of inputting the locations manually, just base the locations of the transforms on the screenshots. Something about the way the program recognizes locations changed with this new one.
I promise I'll reply to all the fav's and comments later tonight I don't want to forget anyone
Oh, and I don't know who hit print request, but I won't make this image available for it. I'll make the actual fractal which is titled Storm (same image) available for it instead. Thank you for the interest
The download includes a 75 page tutorial on how to make four different fractals. Its really detailed and I've spent the past two weeks writing it.
Its mostly pictures though so don't worry about a long reading.
I really hope you guys enjoy this, I've never put this much work into anything.
The download also includes a pack of 100 gradients, and a .flame file of the contents of this tutorial.
For quick navigation of the tutorial I have included a contents page, simply click on the listing of the area you wish to view. The .pdf will automatically take you to the area.

I have one question: When I try to render a file and upload it to deviantART, it has a transparent background and not the usual black background. You wouldn't happen to know what the problem is, would you?

Apophysis renders a .png transparent file.
You need to either change that preference in options, under general options you can disable the png transparency if you wish to do so.
Hope that helped

If you want to do postwork on it though, I recommend keeping it transparent. It makes it easier to play with in Photoshop

I don't have photoshop, so I can't do anything like that.

Do you have any other graphic programs like gimp? Gimp is freeware and pretty decent. I used it for a long time to edit my stuff

Yea, I have Gimp. How do I edit the fractal on Gimp, though? Sounds confusing when I think about it...

Just open it up and start playing Make sure to make a new layer and use the paint bucket to paint a solid black. That's the easiest color to work with at first for a background layer

You're welcome. Also, that way you won't have to re-render everything that came out transparent
