My secret santa for of her character Melo. Lights are my favorite holiday decoration, so I decided to experiment with colors and glow a little ... I really like how it came out~ Feel free to critique it though.

Now I've taken the liberty of looking through your gallery first before I did this critique. I wanted to see your style before I started saying something I didn't know. First off she's beautiful with the lights reflecting off of her muzzle. Though her eyes are a little off balance, and the lights themselves look as fake as my crush's smile. (I hate when she does that >_<) The textures are new to me when it comes to critiquing you, because you style is cartoony. Her lips are kinda strange, next time I would put some teeth to make it more realistic I guess. I'm not used to doing a cartoon critique. I'm always excited to get critiques from someone random, so thank you very much! And to critique a style that you're not as used to ... impressive. :3 I can see just about everything you mentioned (I have a problem with offsetting eyes too much, need to work on that), and I couldn't help but giggle at your 'crush's smile' analogy (although if I made the lights super realistic, it might look weird being with a cartoonish animal

XD I'm so glad you like it and think the glow works well (I'm a sucker for glowy things, so this was too much fun of an idea to pass up~). Oh, it's alright! I loved the initial one, and I can't wait for the second one whenever you are able to finish it, but no rush! I still have Christmas gifts to finish.
