She's been around long enough and needed an official ref. >w> I like having lots of 'sonas, and having each one represent something slightly different about me while still being me. :3 This is Rae, my wolfsona. I made her to represent me entirely, everything that's good and bad about me. Unlike my technical fursona, who I created based on what colors and features I liked, Rae is more symbolic in her design.

Her name is Rae because my name is Rachel. I like the name, and I've also had it used as a nickname before.

The marking on her hip corresponds to a large birthmark I have on mine, and the dot on her ear represents my favorite freckle (yes, it sounds silly, but I love that freckle ... it's actually on my hand, but I wanted to put it somewhere on her that was noticable)

Her colors in general make me think of a character that is quick and shy ... when around 'normal' people, I am quite shy and can be awkward; also quick to run away. Also, ever since I was little, I've loved that color-to-color-to-color design, which is why her back goes from gray to light gray to white.

Her eyes are heterochromatic for a few reasons: 1) The blue eye is my eye color while the amber eye is symbolic of my imagination and the amount of power I feel my mind has, and 2) I love heterochromatic eyes. XD

I could have called her a gray wolf, but timber wolf has more meaning to me. >w> Her birthday is my birthday, and her orientation is what I believe myself to be.

So that's Rae in a nutshell. :3 I'll probably draw her more now since this ref was fun to make.
