My character or Academy of Heroes:Final Edit: I swear this is my final edit ><;; I am happy with her design now. It may have taken just over a year, but I'm happy with her now
Edit 2: It's Wifi's 17th birthday...so i updated her looks again ^-^ Uh...Thorn will be added in later >>;;;
Edit!: Some circumstances have been brought up that have caused Wifi's ribbons to...relocate. So you will never see them again
*ahem* Anyway, the reason is not important. If you know why, then you know why. That's all.
The flower on her head is called an anemone (no, not a sea anemone) I find it's colouring funny, but that probably an inside joke XD
Acantha, aka Thorn, is that little bird floating by Wifi. She is Wifi's familiar and is part sparrow/part rose vines.

Wifi is the quiet type who is always there but no one seems to notice. She is like a wi-fi signal, you can only find her if you know where to look XD
She really likes to go outside but it conflicts with her love of dark places. Because she likes the dark so much, bright light hurts her eyes.Looking out of windows is a favorite pass-time for her since the sun isn't directly in her eyes. So she tends to sit by the window in class.
Wifi discovered about the existence of "Eden" from her grandmother, who went missing. Wifi would play with flowers in the basement of her house, she would make them glow and float around. She was trying to simulate the natural light from the sun which she thought came from the flowers.
The jewels on her clothes glow when she uses Eden.
The limit of her Eden control when she enters AoH is making things glow. She can't do anything else as of yet.
She has gained more control since she finished the first semester. She can levitate items easily (large or small) and can fuse some basic earth items with weaponry to strengthen the weapon and add some attributes to it. Her archery skills have grown a bit as well.

Lindre: *shakes head* Don't say that. I'm sure that you'll be able to make yourself an excellent weapon with practise! I'll just show you how to draw your bow, but first we'll need some kind of arrows. I have, but I don't have them here with me right now, and it would take a little while for me to get them... *looks hopefully at Wifi* would you be able to make a few? I'm not sure how well they would work, but we could use leaves for the fletching, and the tip could be out of hard wood...

Lindre: *nods* Yes, these should be good for a first run. I'll show you the different kinds of arrows another time... Right then. There are a few different ways of drawing a bow. We'll just use what's, in this world, called the pinch draw. Which eye do you take aim from? Like... if you have to take aim with one eye, which would you use, your left or your right?

Wifi: Well...I think I would use my left eye. My right eye usually closes whenever I try to gauge a distance...

You'll be taking the bow in your right hand, and your left hand will be what you draw arrows with. *picks up an arrow for herself and passes another one to Wifi* I'll just show you how to draw and shoot really quickly, and then I'll help you when you try for yourself. *looks around* I'll use that as a target. *points to a tree about 25 feet away and backs up another few feet. Then, takes the appropriate stance, carefully fits her arrow into the bow, takes aim and fires* That should be good... I fired a little too much to the left that I'd have wanted to, but still. *smiles* I'll help you try now.

Wifi: *walks over to Lindre and stands the same way she did* Is there a reason why we stand like this? *she takes on of the arrows and positions it, but isn't sure how to draw it exactly* Um...how do you hold it with your fingers?

Lindre: You stand like that 'cause it makes it easier to aim and shoot. Just make sure your toes are pointing straight ahead, instead of facing your target. Hang on, since you're now starting, you should have your bow facing down. It'll make it easier for you to draw arrows until you're practiced enough that you can draw them really well with you bow up.
And with your fingers... Grip the bow around the middle with your bow arm. You've already got that, just move your hand down a little. And then you need to take the end of the arrow--the nock, that little area after the leaf fletching--in your other hand, your string hand, and and attach it to the bow string. That's why there's that little grove-thingy at the end of the nock. Make sure that it's just a little bit above your bow hand. Since your bow's facing down, don't worry about the arrowhead just yet.
Now that the nock's attached to the string, you need to hold onto the end of your bow. There are three different ways of drawing your arrow. The one most people use is the.... um... The Mediterranean draw, I think? So I'll start you off using that one. Well, anyway, in that draw, the end of the arrow is held between the index finger and the middle finger, which (along with that fourth finger on your hand) are directly resting on the bow string.

I just wanna make sure you've got everything right before we actually draw the bow and shoot...

Lindre: *inspects Wifi's grip* Mm... *moves her bow hand down a little bit, corrects her grip on the arrow slightly and makes a couple of other small changes* Yes! That should be good! *smiles*
Now, you pull up your bow to face your target, that is, that tree there! You need to make sure that it's facing straight forward and it's not slanting towards the ground, or pointing too far up. Now you've got t draw the bow. Make sure to have that straight, too. You should draw it far back enough that it reaches your mouth or chin, or something. You'll need to build up strength in your arms to be able to do that really well a lot of times in a row.
Once you've got your arrow drawn, you have to take aim with the eye you use more. For you, you said that's your left eye. Once you've taken aim, fire!
*pauses* One more thing... Something that you'll want to watch out for is to make sure that the bow is aligned with the target properly. If it's directly aligned, the arrow will fly too far to the right, so you need to make sure that the bow is just a little bit off-target to the right to get it to fly where you want it to. Just a little bit, though.

And I've been interested in stuff like archery for a while. Plus, I always like to do research into what I say my characters interests are. So I also know far more than necessary about sword fighting, pole arms and various kinds of knives. The inter webs help.))

Oh, and you're gonna need to build up some arm muscle to get the arrows to fly well every time. I believe humans do push-ups for that sort of thing...?

Push ups are really easy! You just go on the ground and push up your body with your arms! *demonstrates a push-up very quickly* I don't like them much, but they were useful for when I first came here to build up some arm muscle.
