I hate to sound rude but this pose reminds me of an eschergirl. Her pose is just so odd and after attempting to copy it (in all my crazy flexibility) it is nearly physically impossible.

No worries, I totally see what you mean. After I'd posted it I kept staring at it myself and then tried it. I could ALMOST copy it, but most definitely not to that kind of extreme. I'd actually never hear the term "eschergirl" before, I had to google it. lol I totally get you though. Its one of the things I need to work on, posing and perspective etc. So thank you for the critique!

^__^ It takes a lot to offend me, don't worry! I don't get a lot of people actually pointing out things. I usually get "ooh nice!" or "lovely" type comments so when I get a critique I'm actually quite thrilled and try to adapt to their suggestions. I'm entirely self-taught in my art aside from the obligatory high-school art program that really only taught me how to use the white pencil crayon (coloured pencil) to blend, and that was over 12 years ago. So your critique is really and truly appreciated.

They weren't originally chained, that came after she'd mastered Poi, and after a few decades of practice. lol They can be wielded without the chain too, and most often are, I just included it so I'd have a "cut off" cuz I didn't wanna draw her legs. XD
