And now, for something COMPLETELY different!!This is me, as Tira from Soul Calibur 3. I've only a few decent shots of this, alas, she's never actually been to a photoshoot. I've actually been cosplaying since 2002ish, my first con actually being Yaoi-Con in San Fransisco, CA where I was Tsuzuki from Yami no Matsuei, hence the handle "Tsuzukikun".
Anyway, I can't sew to save my life, thusly, my uber awesome wonderful roommate, Neko made this for me, first worn at Anime Evolution 2006 I believe. o.O We had a full ensemble cast, Ivy, Setsuka, Seong Mina, Kilik, Talim, Lynette, Raphael and Amy, and we won two awards that year, "Best in Show" and "Best Costume:Group".
XD you can totally see my piercing here, it amuses me greatly. I LOVED the make up for this one, it was awesome. I looked like something out of Cirque Du Soliel. XD And my purple contacts. I adore those things

lol well I don't actually do the sewing as the sewing machine and I hate each other, but I do detailing like painting and armours and I cut things out. But I guess its like anything else, it just requires patience and practice. ^___^

She made it all herself, including molding the skulls for the necklace and corset.

Thank you so much! I made the armour and painted the outfit as well as did my own makeup, but costume construction was done by my roommate at the time, Sensei. She patterned the pants using a old pair of tight pants I had, and the shirt was custom cut-out while I was wearing it. ^___^
Double sided sticky tape was my best friend for this outfit. XD

thanks will do, did you have the weapon to go along with it the big ring blade, and do they give prizes or anything at these things for best costume or any thing, Ive been wanting to go to one for the longest time as Raphael but I can never seem to find one close by, I live in London Canada by the way so I dont know if Canada just dosent have this kinda thing very much or what, uhhhh yeah sorry for the long rant
