Description
This a mech model that I created in Blender 3D (v 2.62). Thanks to ~ranisdeguery for the name! This model is greatly detailed, and I am quite happy with how the cockpit came out. Whole model is roughly 200,000 vertices, and took about 12 hours to complete. I will probably edit the guns on the side later. Let me know what you think!Changelog: (An artist is never satisfied)

Like, linear-deposition plastics. There are a lot of companies that do it on demand these days. A machine that reads a 3D model, like this one, and then lays down successive layers of plastic resin to make an actual physical object.

Do it, man. The profit margin isn't huge, but it's a neat way to monetize 3D designs like this.
Make 'em at 6mm scale - I'll buy 'em!

Looks great so far. It looks like the rickets are on a pivot, which was the only thing I would say about them. Nice job with the upper body. The legs do look very nice, the only question I have is how the mech turns... It's hard for me to tell, but are the top leg joints on pivots as well?

Yeah. The "hip bones" of the mech are those square pivots on the sides of the waist. They are alot bigger than they look

EXPECT an animation if everything goes alright with the rigging. This is the biggest rig I've made.

Damn, the details you put on the legs is incredible! So much effort you put to make this look authentic. Can't wait to see the turret/driver upper part of it!

This looks just marvelous! Turret gives so aggressive look to it. Totally can do *some* damage. I'd put a nice high caliber gatlings on the side.
