It's hard to believe that I started Belle in 2015. This story has been with me longer than any of my Minecraft projects, except for Zerconia, and that's super exciting to me! So much so that I've take some time to really sit back and think about what that means.

I am, at my core, a story teller. I have always been a story teller. Map making has been incredibly important to that process. (That's why I love Minecraft so much!) I've never tried to make this kind of map before, and as many of you have seen, this map is not one I've made from scratch. Using a program called Planet Gen download.cnet.com/PlanetGen/30… And using the Zerconia seed for Minecraft (While adjusting the parameters to what I liked) I created the first, pixel based, small version of this map.

Yes, I know this map that you see posted, is crude looking and kind of noobish looking. As I have said, I've never made this sort of map before. I will refine this larger map over the next few weeks and add things like a biome map and a map of where all the towns and roads and stuff.

WHY am I doing this? Two reasons, really. A part of me wants to break further away from Minecraft for the time being and let my Personal Brand reset after being hijacked by the Crafty girls for so many years, and partly because in order to work an effective Minecraft server I'd need a crew. If any of you remember my post about what happened with my last big crew you'll understand why I'm not ready to dive back into working with a bunch of people.

I also asked in a poll a few weeks back what you guys wanted to see from me. Belle, or Minecraft. The poll was split right down the center, showing me that you guys don't really care now that I'm not a member of Mary's comic world. And the fact that Belle stood her own against Minecraft was really cool to me!

So for this spring and summer I will be working hard on Belle. Not Just the comic (Which is giving me massive troubles right now) but on a Belle based RP discord server.
No, I don't know what plugins I'd like to use, I'm not ready for that part yet. No I don't have Belle OC sheets for people yet, I need to set the world up a little better first.
YES joining the RP server will be free, and YES my patreon supporters will get extra functionality and perks. No, I am not sure what those perks are yet, but I will let you know!

So for now gaze upon my crude childlike map and revel in the fact that while it looks awful now, a much cooler set of better looking maps will be posted as soon as I can get them done!
