You know, sometimes I stand there at the subway station looking around and wondering about all those different people. Some talk in Turkish, some in French and others use an Asian language. Berlin is a very multicultural city and I'm happy to live here.I wish more people would enjoy difference as I do.

I did, yes.
Its a very interesting country but you must stay away from touristic resorts. We always stayed in Cuban houses and spoke to lots of different people there. I recommend it if you speak the language.

Cuba and Turkey were my favourites, for different reasons.
I will be travelling from my hometown in Portugal all the way down to Agadir and Marrakech in April so I guess Morocco will soon be in my top as well

I can't really tell from the cut off words, but it says something about "an ant who is neighbours with a bug", and jelousy. Some kind of metaphor, I think? xD The old words are also kind of hard to understand, it's sort of like the way Shakespeare would sound to an english speaker. xD

hei, i think this work inspired me much to make something like this..
but, in native/local language version in my country
i find such of this situation when in college, in kind of bazaar or when in train station in mid of Ramadan (peoples buy tickets to go to their family town/villages when end of Ramadan coming

honestly, i don't know the exact amount of local languages.. but National Education Departement said that were not less than 700 
generally,peoples use indonesian to talk between other ethnics (with dialect variation from each ethnic)or in formal and institutional purpose. and every people at least understand passively one of their local/mother language

err.. i think just 1, yes one which i use it daily
like English British or other languages, which have polite/formal, non formal or slang in one word, Sundanese also have that.. and sometimes it's pretty tricky to switch the vocabs while you speak to various person
the fun thing in Sundanese is there are much of such sound effect (like "splash" or "clap") which became a new word^^
passively i also a bit understand when people speak Javanese (mainly in Central and East Java--i think that's a bit similliar with Spanish or Italiano which have "o" in many words
just fyi, local language is also a lesson subject in elementary until high school,depend on dominant native language in each province
*when i was elementary grade, i had moved from one province to another province. Consequently, i must to learn another local language on there, and i got 2 or 3 in exam in early semester xD(the score range was 0-10)

When do Indonesians learn English in school? My brother went to Thailand and said, that nobody can spak English there...

ya, every indonesian people at least able to speak/write indonesian and one local language (and every local language also have their own alphabet xD -- but it much easier to learn it with latin alphabet)
generally, indonesian school teach English since 4th grade.. but new curriculum had put it early at 1th grade
about Thailand, really? i just know it now also.. English also taught in Thai school, but i don't know what grade it begin to taught
maybe it related also with the past, bcause historically, Thailand was the only one South East Asia country that never occupied by European power.. (maybe this is OOT)
what city were your brother went?
maybe in Bangkok or tourism area people have knew little in English

Yes, I'm half Tunisian, and yes I speak Arabic (: There are many French based words in Tunisian dialect and I had French class here, so I speak it, too, alhamdulillah (:
