Imagine if shit had played out differently with Aomn, knowing what we know now:
Amon: Say goodbye to your accursed bend.
*Takes away bolins earthbending, and he tries to fight back, and suddenly Lavabends*
Bolin: I can lavabend? *smiles at Amon* I can Lavabend!!

Why am I getting the feeling that lavabending is one of what I call hybrid benders? I guess it's because lava is technically Earth although it is widely considered Fire.
So, here are the following hybrid elements in the avatar cycle, starting with the element displayed here:
Lava/Volcanic (Earth and Fire)
Plasma and Radiation (Fire and Air)
Clouds, Rain, and Snow (Air and Water)
Mud, Soil, and Plant (Water and Earth)
It seems however that the opposites are harder to come up with regarding hybrids:
Sand (Air and Earth)
Steam (Water and Fire)
The scariest is that each can produce an (un)natural disaster:
Tornado (Air)
Hurricane (Air and Water)
Flood (Water)
Tsunami (Water and Earth)
Earthquake (Earth)
Volcanic Eruption (Earth and Fire)
Fire Assault (Fire)
Lightning Storm (Fire and Air)
Sand Storm (Air and Earth)
Famine (Water and Fire)
Famine is the best type of disaster I could come up with that would be caused by a combination of water bending and fire bending because both control heat, temperature, and humidity and therefore can cause a disruption in the natural paradigm. Likewise, I couldn't think of another type of major dangerous condition with Air and Earth combined.
Got any ideas?

I love Bolin, I am just so sad that he got a love interest, Opal is great and everything and he needed someone there to be there for him...but I loved Bolin....

I was glad to see that even when he can metal bend, He can do this awesome bending, and I think It fit him perfectly, because when you see a metal bender they are usually calm and stay cold, but not Bolin, Hi is the kind of person who put all his passion in his bending

That latest episode was awesome! Bolin was great! Others too, but I just loved seeing him and Varrick in action!

It was a surprise to see Bolin and Varrick in this episode. I thought it would be all the reunion with Korra, Mako, and Asami.
