X_X That other picture I posted of Lanying yesterday was...pretty bad, I'll admit it. I did it freehand on the tablet and apparently I got out of practice with digital art. I'm still not great at peacocks, but I'm better than I was and I needed to show it, so I did an anatomy study of Lanying. That's not her real clothes, by the way; I still haven't figured out what those will look like. This is just a placeholder outfit with no colors and no long drapery so that I can work on her body colors and form.

Her coloration is simplified from that of a real java green peahen, but I tried to keep the same main colors in more or less the same places. And I do like that little "collar" of purple around her neck. (I haven't been able to figure out many ways of differentiating peafowl OCs from Lord Shen, or from the bazillion other peafowl OCs for that matter, so I used that mark to try and give Lanying her own little special characteristic.)
