I'm not too crazy about how Sword and Blade came out here (all of these designs on the back end are for characters that I almost never draw), but I guess that they could have turned out looking a lot worse. The little suits and bow ties and stuff look really stupid thrown over their armor, but it's actually supposed to look like that. Like I said before, M!MPotO is half-parody of Hoshi no Kaabii as well as The Phantom of the Opera, so I'm all for throwing some silliness in there. I dressed Silica up as a pumpkin, for crying out loud!

Blade is the auctioneer at the very beginning of the show, and Sword is Monsieur Lefevre. In case you get mixed up with all the names, which I certainly do, Monsieur Lefevre is the original manager who shows up during the rehearsal at the beginning and introduce Firmin and Andre (Dedede and Escargon) as the new managers of the opera house. Seeing as how they show up for about five minutes apiece, I didn't want to get into the uncomfortable realm of what they look like under their armor, so I just went for the silly-but-effective look instead.

Last up: Joseph Buquet and Monsieur Reyer!
