All right, I've decided that it's time to get on the ball and start designing doubles for the other canon Star Warriors, that way everything will make sense within Kirby and the Star Children. To start off with, this is Lady Athena, Sir Arthur's double. I based her whole armor and color scheme on Sir Arthur's design ([link] ), but much like with Chuva, I converted the mask into a headdress and adjusted the outfit for her build. She's actually taller than a lot of the other female Star Warriors, closer in height and build to Memu.

Anyway, Athena and her double Arthur are the leaders of the Galaxy Soldier Army (she's still slightly subordinate to him). What gives them the right to lead when all of the Star Children were born on equal ground? Well, I've decided that they were born into a culture in which propriety and discipline were the highest values. From birth, both of them were taught to be level-headed, no-nonsense people with the ability to calmly take charge in dire situations. When the Galaxy Soldier Army first formed, it was a mess, since it was filled with slightly panicked Star Children who had been eight years old when they fell asleep but were now waking up in adult bodies. Arthur and Athena were the ones who managed to restore order and get the entire operation up and running, becoming the first knights and the leaders of the GSA in the process.

Athena herself is very prim and proper, and she's practically obsessed with rules, procedures, and order. This makes her a highly effective leader and a very capable warrior in battle. However, her extremely serious nature and the fact that she doesn't tolerate anyone acting out of line at all -- even if they were just joking around for a second -- means that some people find her extremely irritating to be around. She's also very controlling and likes to be in charge of people, which causes power struggles if she has to confront someone who would rather not be bossed around. Although she does have a kind heart and can be deeply emotionally affected by a lot of things, especially failure, she tries very hard to never waver from her strict appearance. She and her double get along very well, and it was speculated for a long time within the GSA that she and Arthur were romantically involved. This was just a rumor though, since they were never witnessed together showing affection beyond normal double relations.

In my headcanon, she also survives the war with Nightmare, but she and Arthur were separated for a while. When she and Chuva finally meet, they absolutely loathe each other.
