...I'm probably missing something, since I don't know you and all, but how much of an explanation does this need, assuming the person you're explaining to has seen the movie all the way through? It appears to make sense (of course, I've got an odd idea of what kind of things make sense anyway).

It was really that I was talking to my friend on the phone, and she was telling me about a backstory idea she had for the Other Mother, and it involved magic spiders. Sorry, I suck at explaining.
