Jack quickly got out of bed, still shocked about the beanstalk. He walked over to the dresser, and changed out of his pajamas. Isabelle didn't even bother changing, she just ran out. After getting into his clothes, Jack quickly left the house as well, and found his sister staring up at the beanstalk in awe. "Woah...", Jack said, looking up. The beanstalk reached all the way up into the sky, and the clouds. Jack shielded his eyes from the sun to get a better look. It was so high, that he couldn't even see the end of the stalk. Isabelle turned around, looking at her brother with shock and excitement. "Isn't it amazing, big bro?!", she cried. Jack nodded a little. "W..well, it certainly is..", he said, still a little shocked. "Let's go show Mommy!", Izzy said, starting towards the door, but Jack stopped her. Isabelle looked over to her brother, confused. "Why are you stopping me, Jack?", she asked.

Jack sighed, and looked down at the ground. "Look Izzy, it's impressive and all, but I don't think we should bother Ma right now. She might still be upset at us about yesterday.", he said. Isabelle frowned. "But if she sees it, she'll probably change her mind!", she argued. "No, just let her see it for herself. Ma's probably still sleeping. I don't want us to wake her up.", Jack said. Izzy huffed, but nodded her head. Something suddenly came to Jack's mind. "Hey, wait a minute. Didn't that hooded guy say that this would give us food? I don't see any food on that thing!", he said, a bit angry. Isabelle looked, and her brother was right. There was no visible beans or any vegetables on the beanstalk, just leaves. "That guy defiantly cheated us! I can't believe this!", Jack said angrily, throwing his arms up in the air. He kicked a rock in the grass, and sighed. Izzy looked at her brother, and then at the beanstalk. She looked up, where it reached into the clouds. She thought for a bit. She noticed Jack was going back into the house.

"Big bro? Where are you going?", she asked. "I'm going back to bed...", he grumbled, hands in his pockets. Izzy frowned, and looked back up at the beanstalk. Thinking some more, a thought suddenly popped into her head. What if the beanstalk leads somewhere? It's possible..., Izzy thought to herself. She started walking towards the beanstalk. Jack, who was already in the house, turned around to see if his sister was coming with him. He saw her approaching the beanstalk, and he became curious. He walked back out. "Izzy, what are you doing?", he asked. Isabelle jumped a bit, and turned around. "I'm going to climb the beanstalk!", she said. Jack's eyes widened. "Are you crazy?! Why would you-", he cried, but Izzy interrupted him. "It may lead to somewhere Jack! I know that sounds dumb, but you never know!", she said. Jack stared at his sister with shock. Isabelle turned her head, and started to climb, but Jack quickly grabbed her. "Hey!", Izzy cried, squirming around in Jack's arms. He set her down, and Isabelle glared up at him. "Why did you do that?!", she demanded.

"Izzy, I'm not letting you climb that thing!", he said. "But I WANT to go up there! There could be something up there!", Isabelle argued. "There's nothing up there, Izzy! You can't stand on clouds, if that's what you're thinking!", Jack said, his eyes narrowing. "But what if you can?!", Izzy cried. "No, you can't! There's no secret land or anything up there. It's just clouds!", Jack shouted, now starting to get angry. Tears started developing in Isabelle's eyes. "But don't you want to help Mommy?! What if there is something up there?! We should check!", she shouted back. Jack was silent for a bit. "Izzy..", he started, lowering his voice. "We're losing money and food, big bro! What if there happens to be something up there that could help us?! What's the harm if we just check or not?!", Isabelle cried again, tears streaming down her cheeks. Jack, shocked, looks down at his sister, then at the beanstalk, and then back. He took a deep breath, and knelt down.

"Izzy, I'm sorry I yelled. You do kinda have a point. I guess I can try...", he said, reaching out a little. He pulled his sister into a hug, shushing her, and rubbing her back. After Isabelle finally calmed down, Jack wiped off her tears. "It's okay, I'm going to check up there, alright?", he asked. Isabelle sniffled, nodding her head. "Can...can I come too..?", she asked. Jack looked up, and shook his head. "Sorry sis, I think only I should go. You're a lot younger than me. I don't want you to get hurt.", he said. Isabelle sighed, but she understood. "Oh..okay Jack..", she said. Jack nodded, patted her shoulder, and stood up. He looked up at the beanstalk, and put his arms around it. He started to climb up, and looked back down at Isabelle. She was looking a bit worried.

"Jack, please be careful..", she said. "Don't worry Izzy, I'll be okay. I promise.", he said, giving her a reassuring smile. He turned around, continued to climb up the beanstalk, only keeping his gaze upwards. Isabelle watched her brother climbing, getting smaller and smaller from her point of view. All she hoped was that Jack wouldn't fall, and that there was something at the top of the beanstalk.
