Omega Centauri is a globular cluster located in the constellation of Centaurus. Weighing in at over 4 million times the mass of our sun, it is the largest and brightest globular cluster in the Milky Way Galaxy. Because of its location in the sky far south, many northern observers have never seen this object. However, due to its brightness, it does not require much exposure time to capture. My total integration for this image is only 15 minutes.Acquisition Details:
