Description
NGC 3576, colloquially known as the Statue of Liberty Nebula (pretty obvious, if you see it), is an emission nebula and star-forming region located in the constellation of Centaurus. In its position in the night sky, it is located between the Running Chicken Nebula (IC 2944) and the Grand Carina Nebula (NGC 3372), and as such, this region is extremely interesting to photograph and ranks among my personal favourites (not least because it is in a prime position for me to shoot from my window). While I was intending to gather additional data for this object, I was rather busy in the last few months, and the season for which it is visible is ending soon. As such, I doubt I will be able to come up with something better at this point (if I do, I'll be sure to update this). In total, I have accumulated about 6 hours of exposure on this target, which is still relatively long compared to what I can usually do on average.

Yes, if you look right at the centre of the image, you should see it. Most nebulae are named after what the object resembles, sometimes more obviously than others 😂
