A bulky, dark-gray (with brown tints) tomcat with a light muzzle, scruff, and front toes. His ears and tail are slightly darker brown. His muzzle is littered with graying hairs. His eyes are golden-orange. His legs and ears are long, but his tail is short, limp, and bent in on itself. He has one single tooth that sticks out from the bottom of his mouth, and a thin white scar over his right eye. His ears tend to just flop over sometimes since he doesn't use them.

Despite his name, Beast doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He's always smiles towards others, even if his smile is probably the least appealing part about him. It's hard not to let Beast worm his way into one's heart, and once he's there, it's hard to get him out. He is adorably friendly, after all, like a young kitten. He likes to talk to anyone and everyone, even those who tend to give off bad vibes.
His friendship is not always with good intentions. Of course, he wouldn't purposefully deceive anyone. But if he were in an alliance with someone else...Others (his 'friends') tend to use his friendly personality as a way of trickery.

--DETERMINED--
Beast is a determined little sucker. While he isn't the smartest around, when he wants something, he'll work for it. His communication barrier, for one, is something Beast constantly strives to overcome. If Beast can actually set his mind on a goal, and manage to think about it more than once or twice, he probably won't forget about it, and he'll work at it until it's achieved. Though, sometimes he does need a little push in the right direction.

--LOYAL--
Beast is very loyal to his friends. He'll stand up for any cat who's shown him kindness on multiple occasions. Any cat he communicates often is valuable to him, because he doesn't come by cats like that often. He'll easily put his life on the line for another. His trust in others is fault, for many of his relationships are with those that abuse his kindness. But Beast is clueless to this, and will stick with those that keep his company most.
Beast tends to become clingy to those he spends the most time with. He also tries to see good in people that maybe don't have it in them.

--SKILLFUL--
Beast is a feline of many talents, and while he is far from a master at anything (aside from making friends) he's pretty good at getting the hang of things quickly. He can complete most tasks given to him that have to do with his paws. Now that he's gotten the hang of his powers, he's also pretty good at doing mundane tasks with those, as well. He's pretty handy when it comes to repeating something over and over. Beast doesn't mind sticking to a regimen.

--MELLOW--
When the trials started, Beast was a very hyperactive fellow, but as the years passed in the forest and his body aged, Beast has mellowed out a lot. He's a lot calmer than he ever was, preferring to stick with the group instead of run off ahead. He still has some energy, but nowadays it seems like he knows what to do with it. He's a lot of relaxed and doesn't get as stressed out by change as he once did.

--IMMUTABLE--
Beast may tend to follow the crowd and go with the flow, but Beast has his beliefs and he has his schedules. Since the group was left in the forest, he's settled into a regular regimen. Greeting every cat in the forest in the mornings is just one of the little regular quirks he has. Beast doesn't like change, but when things do change, he will always try to find some sort of order, be it a specific cat he will cling to during a trial, or an item he finds comfort in. Something always has to stay the same. Beast's beliefs are also usually unchanging.

--DISTRACTED/SPACY--
Beast's ease in distraction can be good for his allies. They can easily prevent him from witnessing tragedy, which in the long run will give him less breakdowns.
Beast is easily distracted. He looses concentration in a lot of subjects at hand, which can lead to consequences. He often needs to have someone at his side to direct him in the right way, or he'll fall behind.

--CHILDISH--
Beast is rather immature, especially considering his age. While he doesn't have the boundless energy of a child anymore, he certainly doesn't behave like he's much older than a kitten. Of course most of this is due to his conditions, but maybe some of it is just Beast being eternally youthful...at least in spirit. His humor is about on par with a kid's, and a lot of mature jokes and themes fly right over his head.

--DEPENDENT--
Beast would not last on his own, plain and simple. He relies heavily on others for most everything, be it food, companionship, and self-defense. Sure, Beast can hunt, and Beast can fight, he even enjoys alone time. But he's not skilled enough in any of it to exist on his own. He depends too fully on others to protect him from the things he can't hear. Without help, he would never have enough food to take care of himself. And he also just...gets really sad without someone to talk to.

--SLUGGISH--
With age, it was a predictable thing. Beast joined the trials a little late in his life cycle. He's still young and spry enough to compete, but if a cat were to look at him when he began the trials and now, he's slowed. He doesn't have the energy for early mornings or late nights anymore. He's slower to get going than others. This trait just adds onto his dependency on others. He grown slow and tired and admittedly a little bit lazy these past few years.

- Beast is deaf by birth. In order for him to understand others, he must be able to read their lips and/or body language. Don't talk too fast, but don't speak to slow, either.

- Beast is deaf to the regular world, but he can hear Oordeel and other god-like beings like him. He does not understand most their speech, however. It just confuses him and makes his head hurt any time they talk.

- The scar over Beast's eye came from a sneak attack when he was very young. It didn't permanently damage his sight, but he was left with the nasty scar.

- Beast was born with an under-bite prominent on his left side. A single tooth sticks out, making him look doofy. He talks with a lisp because of it.

- Beast is part if the renowned Dad Gang (consisting of Marius, Gerves, and Rin), which spawned in Original Team 2™. The (original) Dad Gang is p dead now, but uhhhhh I say we reboot it.

- Beast doesn't hate Oordeel. He believes there is good in every cat, and while he is angry with him, he refuses to claim he hates him or that his intentions with the trials were bad.

- Since the cats have been in the forest, Beast wakes every morning and checks on every single cat to make sure they're doing well. If he can't find someone, he'll look all day and probably forget to eat.

    So, wandering out of camp on her own had been a bad idea when she’d done it two sunrises before. It had landed her at the paws of nearly drowning in Riverclan’s territory. To be fair, she had often been able to wander out and be safe in her old home. But here, in this new territory...she knew nothing. There was no muscle memory. Everything smelt new. And even the borders were still new, and their markers were weak, especially to one desperately trying to depend on an eyesight they really didn’t have anymore.
    Palesight sat at the entrance to the medicine cat’s den. She’d been forbidden from wandering from camp alone since her last escapade (which had ended with a Riverclan warrior bringing her halfway home). Cats had offered to escort the she-cat out, but she always snapped at them because no! Of course she wasn’t losing her eyesight! She still had...some of it. She could still find her way.
    But her situation was getting harder and harder to deny. And she knew the truth ultimately. But she didn’t want to depend on random clanmates. Sure they were nice. But those warriors...she never got to know many. The queens were nice, and some of the cats she’d watched (well, not exactly) grow up into warriors were fun to socialize with from time to time.
    But Palesight only truly trusted one cat to take her out to explore.
  She and Batshade had grown apart a lot in the past moons. But Palesight knew they were still friends. He was still one of her closest. And that was why she stood at the entrance to his den, the world was a mesh of colors to her, and she squinted her eyes closed because sometimes it gave her a headache anymore. With clumsy paws, still not used to the new layout of camp or the once-familiar den, Palesight pushed through the entrance, calling out a faint “Batshade, are you busy?” His scent covered the little den, and she assumed he was there, though she could not see him.

What was your character's stance on entering paradise?
Truth be told, Beast isn't even completely sure what Paradise is. He didn't understand very many of the words told to him of it, but he had been told that it was better than the world he lived in before. He really only followed the crowd because that's what he was told to do.

Was your character a scholar, did they believe in the lore found about locating paradise?
No, he was not. He believed enough, what he could understand of it, anyways. Beast was never very good with words. Especially understanding the big ones other cats did use. He believed more in his friends than he did of the lore of the place.
