there has been a lot of days of gray and rain here.so I was dreaming of nicer days.(man I can't believe this a DD.when I did this it was truly from the heart.because I was wishing for brighter days.thank you so much voodoo-prophet)

well, i really like the colours and the composition, but my absolut favorite is that imperfect and slightly grungy style of everything combined with the colours and the composition. and that negative space at the buttom makes it a superb illustration. i could imagine seeing this on somewhere in a magazine or something, dude... great work.

love the abstract. love the playful grit feeling. the balance between cools and warms, brights and fades is stunning. and there's just enough dark colour to ground the eye. and the colours make me think of good days and better memories.

It doesn't posess the smoothness I usually associate with vector; that's what caused me to take a second glance.
You could say I know a thing or two, but some of the areas...like the "scrunched paper" efect I see here and there...well, I've no idea how you've done that.
Surely you should credit ~myview as well?

Incredible textures really bring out the punchyness of this image. I'll admit that this could've been an ordinary vector, but put together with that texture just brings it up to brilliant. I don't think I've ever seen those two put together. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that this is only a step above a "Normal" vector, it's much higher. The subject and colors themselves are perfect for this texturing. This is impressive artwork. I'm very glad they decided to put something so innovative up for a DD. I'm also incredibly surprised that you haven't recieved more comments on this, yet, because it should be (and hopefully will soon be) getting more attention. Props on originality and props on execution. I'm just going to have to check out the rest of your gallery now, and I'm pretty sure, just from this that you should be devwatched. At any rate, spectacular job!
