well I wish I could claim credit for this terrific color job, which really brings my black and white image to life in ways I wouldn't have thought possible. I had done the original [link] on commission for a private collector, through comicartfans.com, and about a month later this unsolicited and unexpected (but brilliant) painted version by Kyle Chaney pops up with yours truly credited as "inking by Turner Mohan"Easily the best partnership I had no idea I was involved in.

Nowadays its so "easy" to color comics…Colors change everything, i couldnt live without colors!

Yeah this looks really good! The colors match perfectly to the concept and style of the illustration. Collaborative or reactive work between artists (without a commercial background) is a great thing that should happen more often.

thanks! yeah I'd originally conieved the image as a b&w image, and based my choices about composition and lighting and whatnot around that, but i was pretty amazed how much a good color job did for it (now it's hard to look at the original) cool also, and gratifying, to see what another artist makes of your work.
