A boy in my art class named Tony Bui called me a free spirit one day when he was either drunk and/or half asleep. He described to me sleepily exactly what he believed a free spirit to be, and to tell you the truth, it really stuck with me. I won't insult his words by trying to repeat them the best way I can, but in my mind, a free spirit is a determined girl (or guy) who enjoys breaking through normalities and conventionalism. In the photo (taken and modeled by ~ivorylily ), she just looked like a free spirit, or like one should look.No, I didn't change the photo much at all, it was beautiful as is, but I really hope you enjoy this Ivory, and I really hope the rest of you enjoy it also.

how did you star off when doing this, did you make like one huge layer for the face and then add a billion layers on top of that or did you just start layering layers right onto the picture. and also is there some special technic for doing the hair???

Umm, it's been a while so I need to kind of think about it. The hair has no technique really, I just did it strand by strand. Takes time I guess, thats all. The skin I'm not sure about, I think I did one base layer for it and then just added on top of it but I can't remember. I messed with opacities a lot though, and sometimes used the original for reference.

backward blacken and fore lights are like 3 dimensional...

Sorry for being late in the game. I would like to purchase this picture, but if possible is there anyway that the actual image Iβll be receiving be hand signed by the artist. This is a great image and the only way it could be better is with a real deal signature. If its a pain I'll pay more then the set price.
