Description
My tablet is working again thanks to a new cable! So to celebrate, I broke in the new cord with my favorite children's story/fictional character- Peter Pan! I'd been meaning to do a picture for a couple of days now because I just recently found out that there's going to be a new Pan movie next year and I am super excited about it! I don't know how many of you know it, but it's a dream of mine to someday work on a project for this story. Either to illustrate the original, or do my own, or just whatever. I've got a little idea somewhere in the back of my head for an off-shoot kind of story, and I've had this design for Peter for quite a while now, which I doodle from time to time. Though his age is always different depending on how I feel that day. I can't ever decide exactly how old/young to make him. :/Painted this a bit differently than how I normally work. I've done it before, but not enough to be really comfortable with it yet, since its kind of the opposite of how I normally draw/paint. But I'd like to continue working in this method for later pictures so that I can get a better handle on it.
Also, brownie points if you get the joke in the title. ;D
Art and designs property
Peter Pan is... well actually the copyright for this story is some kind of crazy. I think technically it's kind of public property now, but I'm not really sure, since GOSH has that weird perpetual copyright thing, but it's not a normal copyright and, I dunno. It's weird.

Love this idea.
Working on my own Hook novel--Sea-Road to Neverland--which traces penniless James--who threw off his family name and turned his back on the honest world--from a tavern duel with the quartermaster of the Walrus to rising to become captain of the brig Jolly Roger. Along the way he takes the name "Hook" from a makeshift weapon he mastered.
Now is that amnesiac cabin-boy that everyone calls "Tuck" someone who will someday be a bitter foe of Jas Hook...?

That's weird. D: But I know that does happen sometimes. Like, I watch my brother's account but for some reason it never shows me anything he posts. I checked the settings and nothing's wrong, it just doesn't work.

Hook will be played at Hugh Jackman, and he shaved his head for the role!
But nevertheless, great work here, love your textures as usual.

Yeah I know. That's how I found out about it actually. Me and my grandma were watching some talk show when I was staying at my relatives the other day and they mentioned him shaving his head for a Peter Pan movie. And I instantly freaked out and had to go look up the movie info online. XD

I love that movie. :> Though I don't necessarily like seeing Pan grown up, that movie has my favorite interpretation of the Pirate's home, the Lost Boys (and their home), and my favorite Cpt. Hook. I grew up watching that version a loooot more than the Disney one (which is my least favorite version actually) so it's had a lot more influence on how I picture the world and characters.

Read it!
Its a very interesting twist to the whole fairy tale. But I understand if you wouldn't like it. But its worth the tale I think.
However if you do decide to read the book series and finish it. Do not read the 'Bridge to Neverland' its leaves a bad gap.
Books
Lick the books.

I plan to read it at some point. But I don't know what my opinion will be. XD Is bridge to neverland one of the starcatcher books?

It's a supposed sequel after all the starcatcher books finished up but... It lacks the whole charm that the starcatcher books had.

Artemis Fowl. =3= I love those books. Or at least, I love the first few. 1-3 are my favorites. 4-6 are okay, and then 7 was AWFUL. It was so bad that I actually stopped reading the series and haven't read the last book because I can't take any more disappointment. >_<
